Why am I running to represent YOU?
I have lived in the Adams Morgan neighborhood for over 25 years, raising my son here as a single parent, and have witnessed many changes in DC—some beneficial, others less so. My experience has taught me that democracy thrives when a diverse range of voices participates and when the needs of everyone are taken into account. I am committed to ensuring that the voices of all residents are heard and considered in the decision-making process.
The needs of our community are diverse—from senior citizens and veterans in wheelchairs to single parents, Spanish-speaking immigrants, recent college graduates, and young married couples. All of these voices deserve to be heard, and their needs must be met in the decisions we make about transportation, infrastructure, and community development.
As your ANC representative, I will prioritize initiatives that support this vision and ensure that all residents of Ward 1 have a stake in the neighborhood's future success. My love for DC and my commitment to smart, inclusive growth drive my desire to serve this community and make it an even better place for all who call it home.
